Chemical peels with Chantarelle acids are effective, powerful aesthetic treatments designed to exfoliate the epidermis and remodel its structures at different levels depending on the preparation used. Chantarelle experts have developed a wide range of acids for chemical peel treatments, which give clear and fast effects of skin renewal and rejuvenation, skin texture levelling, brightening of discolouration, reduction of scars including acne scars. The offer of Chantarelle acids includes special treatments for particularly difficult skin types, such as vascular skin, sensitive skin, reactive skin, skin with symptoms of AD or rosacea, skin prone to allergies and intolerant to strong chemical peelings. About 2.5 thousand people took part in the competition Spring season for acids organised with the CzasNaZmiane.pl portal. We would like to thank you for all your contributions. We publish below selected reports – descriptions of your experiences after acid-based treatments.
I am 33 years old and my problem has always been freckles and hyperpigmentation, so I decided to have a chemical peel treatment with mandelic acid. The result exceeded my expectations as the freckles and hyperpigmentation were considerably lightened, some completely disappeared. I will definitely undergo this treatment again in the future.
I have been on a series of 5 chemical peels. My problem was acne. Salicylic acid was used. The result was initially a reduction in inflammation and clearing of the skin, then a permanent reduction in pimples. In addition, the skin became smooth and tight. I am 37 years old.
I have never been to a chemical peel treatment with acids before. The problem with my skin is mainly hyperpigmentation and emerging wrinkles. I would love to try such a treatment, I have heard that they are effective. I am 42 years old.
I once had the opportunity to try a chemical peel, with trichloroacetic acid. My skin problem was the usual imperfections, impurities, enlarged pores and blackheads. After the treatment, my skin was brightened, tightened and in much better condition. I am 28 years old.
I have been on a series of 4 chemical peel treatments. My skin problems are related to ageing, namely wrinkles, loss of firmness and elasticity. Already after the first treatment I had a feeling of “tightening” of my skin, after the whole series I noticed a significant improvement in the overall condition of my skin and smoothing of wrinkles. I am 47 years old.
My adventure with acids started a long time ago and is rich in experience. Unfortunately, it mostly ended in disappointment. This is because my skin is very difficult to care for. Despite the fact that I am 44 years old, my skin is still (and always has been) oily. Unfortunately, it is also shallow-vascularised, sensitive and vascular. So I find it extremely difficult to care for such skin. Cosmetics for oily skin cause irritation, while those for vascular skin are not suitable for oily skin. A veritable despair! I have tried a great many scrubs, both at home and in a beauty salon. I have tested peels for oily skin, e.g. yellow-peel, pyruvic, jessner, glycolic, as well as an azelaic acid-based peel suitable for vascular skin. Of course, the more aggressive peels for oily skin irritated my sensitive skin and had to be ‘treated’ afterwards to reduce redness, while the azelaic peels did very little to improve my complexion, and after two months there was no trace of their effect. The azelaic peel alone is simply too weak for me. Likewise the almond peeling. I would therefore be very keen to test Chantarelle’s Red Stop Rosacea cosmetics for vascular skin.
I have had several visits to the beauty salon – and thus several chemical peels performed at different intervals. I decided to have a chemical peel because of post-sun discolouration and numerous blackheads. I remember that one of the ingredients in such a peel was definitely glycolic acid. Initially I was pleased with the results of the peel, the hyperpigmentation became less visible, but the problem with blackheads still remained – perhaps these treatments were too few. Age 34.
I have only enjoyed the benefits of a chemical peel once in my life. I received a voucher for my name day to use at a nearby beauty salon. I decided to remedy my back, where the skin was far from ideal. It was as rough as the shore of a seaside beach. A treatment with mandelic acid was applied. Initially it was very pleasant, I felt a nice warmth spreading throughout my body. It ended up less comfortable, a not very painful but slightly annoying stinging sensation. It was suggested that I have a series of treatments for better results. Due to the holiday season, I postponed further peels until September, as sun exposure is not advisable afterwards. I was unable to give up basking on the beach and savouring sunbathing. On my return, I found that the beauty salon had closed. The voucher was largely gone and I was left with a once-in-a-lifetime experience of a chemical peel. What stops me from trying again is the rather high cost of the first treatment. Subsequent visits are definitely cheaper. Or maybe I’m just explaining myself, because I have an unpleasant memory of that stinging sensation. However, the smooth skin effect was sensational and worth a little discomfort. That’s why home cosmetics seem to me to be the ideal solution. If they are even half as effective as the treatment, they will be worth many sacrifices.
37 years old. I had my pyruvic acid treatment done a month ago. I went to the practice thinking I was going to have diamond microdermabrasion done, but the beautician recommended the acid, so I agreed. After the treatment, the skin peels on my cheeks, but this is standard, other than that it means the acid is working. Overall after the treatment the skin is more nourished, smoother, glowing. Pores and discolouration remain, but it’s only the first treatment so you can’t expect too much. I will try another 2-3 times and then assess the effects. I hope I won’t regret it:)
I had a glycolic acid peeling a few days ago. The dermatologist applied a 50% concentration of acid to me. The feeling, unfortunately, was quite terrible…. The dermatologist carefully observed the reaction of my skin the whole time. After a few minutes, she washed off the acid. When I left, I was red as a beetroot:). For the next 2 days I was still red and even brown at the end of the third day. Then the skin started to peel off, falling off in whole sheets. Now it’s fine, I look almost normal. So far my skin is very smooth and firm, there is no trace of discolouration. I hope it will stay that way and end my acne skin problems. Age – 30
I have quite problematic skin – combination skin, full of imperfections such as quite deep blackheads, pimples, blemishes. At the same time, my skin unfortunately also has a tendency to dry out, so I try to opt for ‘low-risk’ treatments. One such treatment turned out to be the almond peel. Already after the first treatment, a significant difference was visible – the skin became smoother, the pores that were previously clogged with sebum were cleared. After four treatments, you can see that the skin is healthier, clear and refreshed. I have got rid of most of my blemishes and acne scars, of which I had quite a few, my skin has gained a healthy tone. I would happily opt for another series of treatments to maintain this effect. I would recommend to anyone struggling with recurring blackheads! 🙂 It’s hard for me to describe the exact procedure as I’m not a professional. However, I can say for sure that the treatment was painless, even pleasant, and the effect of the product used and the performance of the treatment was fully satisfactory and it is definitely worth repeating. 🙂 28 years old
I was tempted to have a lactic acid peel some time ago. The treatment was carried out by a professional with whom I have been having treatments for several years. I opted for this rather gentle peel to improve the condition of my skin, refresh and nourish it. I preferred not to experiment with stronger peels due to my very sensitive skin on my face. I am happy with the result, my skin exfoliated nicely but was not deeply irritated. It looks much healthier now. 32 years
I am after 8 treatments of pyruvic peel. I was advised by the beautician to do a whole series of treatments as then the effect is much better. My skin peeled very badly the first time, the second time was much better in this respect. The third treatment completely smoothed out my face, it is now brightened, fresh and smooth to the touch. I am very satisfied and intend to continue with these treatments because they really do have an effect – the skin has a very healthy look. I recommend it to everyone! Age 31
My visit to the office for the so called acids did not bring any results. Substantively I was very well prepared for the treatment. I knew what the treatment consisted of, what the results should be, how to take care of my skin after the treatment, etc. The beautician applied glycolic acid – the concentration of which was very high. The beautician applied glycolic acid – unfortunately I cannot remember the concentration. She cleaned my face and smeared it on my face. I felt a slight burning sensation. A few minutes passed and it had already been washed off my face. The treatment was short. The effect was unfortunately nonexistent. Perhaps if I had opted for the whole series, it would have been different. Perhaps I am too thick-skinned to see an effect after the first time. Or perhaps I would have only seen progress after a medical peel. The in-office treatment was too gentle for me.
For more than 10 years I have been in a constant battle with acne lesions and the persistent symptoms of these lesions – pimples, blackheads, papules and enlarged pores. These visits, as well as previous dermatological consultations, did not bring any lasting results in my case, but only emptiness in my wallet. One treatment with mandelic acid brought only a temporary smoothing of the skin and this is understandable. I simply couldn’t afford regular salon visits
I am currently 24 years old and since that holiday (it was my first exposure to the topic of acids in acne treatment) I have been trying on my own to look for cosmetics with acids and apply them, taking into account, of course, the need to use sunscreen. Which acids have I come across in this way? The azelaic acid cream made no impression on my skin. It was only when I used a cream with a 6% concentration of glycolic acid that the results I had so long expected appeared. But of course not permanently, so I also alternate between creams with 5% and 10% concentrations of mandelic acid. I also place great emphasis on moisturising, of course, and avoiding comedogenic substances in colour cosmetics.
I am in my pre-forties and have never really had any skin problems. No acne, oiliness or other problems. The only thing my skin has always needed is hydration and soothing, as it has always been prone to dryness and has been a little hypersensitive. In her thirties, discolouration appeared on her forehead and cheeks. At first, lightening cosmetics helped, but after a while they proved insufficient and I decided to use an acid treatment. Due to my hypersensitivity, only mandelic acid was applied. My skin coped with it perfectly, without any major sensations. The exfoliation was gentle, almost imperceptible, but there was no spectacular brightening of hyperpigmentation either. For what it’s worth, the condition of the skin is much improved, it was brightened, hydrated and seemingly firmer. I decided to do three series of five treatments. Although there was no ‘wow’ effect in terms of brightening hyperpigmentation, I really liked how my skin looked. I need to do it again sometime….
I use the acid treatment regularly and not only in the facial area. I am studying Cosmetology and I love acids. I know that they are perfect for almost every skin problem and it is perfectly possible to choose the right acid for the age and complexion of every woman and man too! 🙂 I am 22 years old and I usually treat myself with mandelic acid.
I did a chemical peel with salicylic acid. My problem was post-sun lesions, hyperpigmentation, My skin was red after the treatment, on the second day it seemed tighter and looked tanned. Unfortunately, after a few days it started to peel and crack. The peeling made the discolouration decrease and the smaller ones disappear completely. I have had this treatment 3 times. I am 38 years old.
I am 30 years old and as a teenager I struggled with huge skin problems. These problems have subsided a little with age however I have not got rid of them completely. I regularly visit a beautician and do skin cleansing. I had always done mechanical cleansing until one day she just suggested acids. I thought, why not painlessly fast, but much more expensive. But as it should be better ok, I agreed. The beautician used (…) pyruvic acid. I had 8 treatments. In fact my skin condition improved, it was smooth, soft, without inflammation or abscesses. Unfortunately the blackheads remained and so had to be removed mechanically. Now I remove the mechanical blackheads every six months after about a week and do the acids, but only 3,4 treatments
My name is Dagmara and I started my adventure with Chantarelle acids in cosmetic school where I had training from this company, I was 23 at the time. In truth it was only one treatment, but with sensational results. I have combination skin with numerous blackheads and an oily T-zone. I had lactic acid 30 % pH 3.5 applied and it was the first time I felt it working, I am writing this because I have used acids from different companies on myself and my clients and never felt anything and there were no results either 🙁 The lactic acid from Chantarelle made my skin breathe, refreshed and smooth. I was shocked when I looked in the mirror after a few hours and noticed that the number of blackheads had reduced. And most importantly, the T-zone didn’t shine so much anymore. I was very pleased with this effect, even my family noticed the changes 🙂 (…) I am now 26 years old and I recently had a baby and my skin needs to be treated with acids again, which is why I am taking part in this competition because Chantarelle acids are really effective and I would really like my skin on my face to be like it was after that treatment 🙂 I’m planning to open my own beauty salon and I’m sure the shelves will be stocked with cosmetics from this range, because I want my clients to be satisfied as I was then.
I happened to be 5 or 6 times on the mandelic and glycolic acid treatments, and indeed – this short series satisfied me. A few years ago I had the unpleasant adventure of a cyst on my left cheek, which appeared out of nowhere and how. Fortunately – thanks to a wise dermatologist (he was probably 100 years old…) I managed to avoid an incision, and removed the cyst myself using a heated herbal wash (what exactly was in this wash – I have no idea, but it worked). Unfortunately, marks remained where the cyst had previously been – slight discolouration and some sagging. I was advised to have treatments with mandelic acid and glycolic acid, so I underwent them and am extremely satisfied. The skin in this area has become noticeably firmer and the skin tone has been evened out, which makes me extremely happy. I would recommend acid treatments to anyone who has problems with various types of skin damage and discolouration. I also recommend needle-free mesotherapy, but that’s another story:) I am 30 years old.
I benefited from a series of mandelic acid treatments last year in the autumn. Mandelic acid was used. Skin problem – grey, tired tone, enlarged pores and excessive oiliness, mild hyperpigmentation. I was very pleased with the results – smoothing of colour and closing of pores, no major irritation noticed. Age – 31 years
