PHOTOBIODYNAMIC METHODS

Photobiodynamic therapy is a medical procedure adapted by dermoesthetics and aesthetic medicine. Its action is based on the synergy of light and photoactive ingredients, which stimulates cell renewal and regeneration, achieving immediately visible results.

Photobiodynamic methods are successfully used in many dermatological therapies, particularly in rejuvenating and anti-aging treatments, and for so-called “difficult skin,” which primarily utilize combined light/laser therapy techniques and photosensitive preparations.

For atopic dermatitis, photodermatoses, acne, and psoriasis, light sources operating in the ultraviolet spectrum, including blue light, are primarily used. Blue light has been proven to have antibacterial, soothing, and inflammatory effects, lower skin temperature, and reduce redness.

PRINCIPLE OF OPERATION

PHOTO-DYNAMIQ® combines the effects of a laser, photoactive preparations, and a magnetic field. The innovative magneto-photobiodynamic method used in PHOTO-DYNAMIQ® enables rapid and visible improvement in skin condition with immediate results, without burns or complications. Thanks to this combination of electrodynamic fields and directed action of specialized preparations, treatment results are cumulative, more effective, and visible from the first treatment (“glamorous effect”).

PHOTO-DYNAMIQ® is based on low-power (5mW/7mW) 420nm, 650nm, and 850nm semiconductor laser diodes with pulsed field emission and a pulsed magnetic field with a power of up to 10mT. The use of special photoactive preparations with bio-chromophores and active ingredients targeted to a given skin problem in procedures ensures high efficiency and effectiveness of the treatments performed.

 

BIOSTIMULATING LASERS

PHOTO-DYNAMIQ® is a low-power laser with a biostimulating effect on physiological processes occurring in tissue, improving microcirculation and lymph flow, and having a regenerative and repairing effect. The PHOTO-DYNAMIQ® device uses 24 different laser fields, the parameters of which have been carefully selected for the treatment programs.

Laser radiation combined with a magnetic field has a biostimulating and self-healing effect, triggering energizing processes in tissue at 650nm and 850nm wavelengths and an antibacterial/soothing effect at 420nm.

MAGNETIC FIELD

Similar to laser radiation, the highest stimulating effectiveness has been demonstrated for alternating magnetic fields with low induction values ​​(intensity). Unlike other therapeutic treatments the body may be subjected to, an external magnetic field penetrates all tissue structures, stimulating biological processes occurring at every level, from cell nuclei and cells, through tissues, and ultimately the entire organism.

The impact of a magnetic field on tissue intensifies metabolic processes, enhances the effectiveness of chemical reactions in tissues, accelerates energy processes, blood supply and oxygenation of cells, and improves the effectiveness and accelerates the penetration of active ingredients into the affected area.

BIO-CHROMOPHORE SYSTEMS + ACTIVE PREPARATIONS

The effectiveness of laser-tissue interaction is fundamentally influenced by the wavelength of the emitted light, combined with its absorption by chromophores contained in/delivered to the tissue. Chromophores appropriately matched to light of a specific wavelength, combined with active ingredients, guarantee maximum absorption and high effectiveness of the combined PHOTO-DYNAMIQ® device technique.
