Working with Chantarelle equipment is contact work i.e. the head directly touches the skin, so it is very important to maintain proper cleanliness and disinfection.
We disinfect our laser equipment with agents designed to disinfect surfaces or equipment. These can be disinfectants even with a very high alcohol content, which are currently used to remove bacteria and viruses. When the appliance is finished and switched off, its surface is gently wiped with a soft material (cloth, cosmetic wrap or pads) moistened with disinfectant. Wipe down all parts of the instrument: control panel, switches, housing, probe, laser glass, etc. Leave to dry for approx. 30 seconds to a minute – as recommended by the disinfectant manufacturer. Once dry, the device can be plugged back in. IMPORTANT: Do not apply the disinfectant directly by pouring it on or spraying it onto the unit. Do not soak the unit or any of its parts in disinfectant liquid. This can destroy the electronics and damage the unit.
