Photorejuvenation and photomodulation – the synergistic effect of Chantarelle laser peels

Photorejuvenation and photomodulation – learn more about these concepts in modern cosmetology. It is worth introducing treatment methods proven to have a rejuvenating effect on the skin into the offer of your practices.

Photorejuvenation – what is it?

The term photorejuvenation combines many different types of treatments using light or laser power to address the manifestations of photo-ageing. Photostageing, as we know it, is largely caused by collagen degeneration processes in the dermis. In addition, these processes are accelerated by the harmful effects of the environment, such as tobacco smoke, environmental pollutants and other unfavourable factors that cause the formation of free radicals.

Photomodulation – what does the term mean?

Photomodulation is a method of stimulating cells to perform specific functions. Using a low-energy light beam, various cellular processes are stimulated or inhibited. Initially, impact photomodulation was developed as a method based on the use of LEDs and low-energy light therapy to stimulate plant cell growth. LED photomodulation can be used either alone or in combination with various non-ablative rejuvenation treatments in the cosmetologist’s office. This method is used for anti-inflammatory or wound healing effects.

Laser peeling, or the combination therapies in the Platinum Peel & Cure

treatment. The uniqueness of Chantarelle laser peels lies in their synergistic action with other treatment techniques. Discover the effective combination therapy in the Platinum Peel & Cure treatment, where five different forces are at work:

  1. Laser LLLT+ pulsed magnetic field – which biostimulates skin cells
  2. LED therapy – a force that works at a specific depth of skin
  3. Bio-chromophores – have a special ability to absorb light at a specific wavelength
  4. PDT chemical peels with optimum pH – allows work on any skin, including reactive skin. Peelings containing acid compositions are superficial, i.e. they gently stimulate the epidermis.
  5. Chemical peelings with a pH-optimised pH are suitable for all skin types, including reactive skin.
  6. Unique ingredients of plant and biotechnological origin – make the peeling treatment more comprehensive and effective.

Laser LLLT + magnetic field

The first force of influence is the laser LLLT (low laser level therapy). These devices are now actively conquering the cosmetic device market. Numerous studies confirm the anti-inflammatory, wound regenerating, stimulating, immunomodulating effects of laser treatments.

Magnetic fields are used very frequently in physiotherapy treatments. It increases the therapeutic effect, has a biostimulating effect, accelerates regenerative processes and assimilation of active ingredients contained in preparations. It improves blood and lymph circulation, increases oxygenation and nutrition.

LED therapy

The second potency, LED therapy (light-emitting diode), strikes at a precise depth, depending on the colour of the light:

  • Red light – stimulates cell regeneration, blood circulation.
  • Green light – suitable for sensitive skin, helps reduce irritation, and has a calming effect on the whole body.
  • Blue light – has an antibacterial effect, which is why it is used in the treatment of acne and blackheads, and in the prevention of wound infections.

Biochromophores

The third potency is biochromophores, of plant origin – developed by Chantarelle experts. They absorb light energy and enhance the effects of stimulation with cosmetic devices. They accumulate laser light multiplying the energy reserve in the cell, thus maximising the efficiency of metabolism and the absorption of active ingredients contained in preparations.

Chemical peels

A fourth force on the skin is chemical peelings, which contain a composition of acids selected to suit the skin type. Superficial pH-optimised peels promote non-aggressive skin stimulation, which rejuvenates, smooths and evens out skin tone. The Platinum Peel&Cure treatments use such acids:

  • mandelic acid
  • citric acid
  • cojic acid
  • phytic acid
  • salicylic acid
  • lactic acid
  • glycolic acid
  • glycolic acid
  • shikimic acid
  • lactobionic acid
  • gluconolactone

Active ingredients

The fifth powerhouse isactive ingredients also selected for the skin type and problem. Chantarelle experts use stable active formulas. They include platinum, terpenoids, alkaloids and phenolic substances, among others, which show beneficial antioxidant and anti-inflammatory effects.

Summary Platinum Peel &Cure treatments have selected acids and active ingredients according to the needs and problems of different skin types:

Engredients for mature and dry skin:

  • Rejuvenating and regenerating acids: glycolic, lactic, citric, almond.
  • Rejuvenating platinum.
  • Plant extracts.
  • Plant extracts: anthrax asiatica, lemon, horsetail, hamamelis, hops, pine, rosemary, sage.

Active formula for delicate, vascular and sensitive skin:

  • Strengthening and regenerating acids: gluconolactone, lactic acid, shikimic acid:
  • Rejuvenating platinum
  • Azeloglycine – a novel combination of azelaic acid and the amino acid glycine.
  • Molecular hyaluronic acid (1MDa)
  • Extracts of sea buckthorn and sea fennel, which stimulate the regeneration process of the epidermis.

Active ingredients for combination, oily and acne-prone skin:

  • Antibacterial acids: almond, citric, phytic, salicylic.
  • Retinol (vitamin A 233310 IU/g) – stable form of active retinol.
  • Rejuvenating platinum.
  • Azeloglycine – a novel combination of azelaic acid and the amino acid glycine.
  • Brightening bearberry extract.
  • Licorice root extract for improved skin condition.

Pigmentation brightening ingredients:

  • Darkening skin acids: lactic, citric, salicylic and kojic.
  • Rejuvenating platinum.
  • Bio-hydroxy acid.
  • Bio-hydroquinone for effective skin whitening.
  • Beanberry extract – inhibits melanogenesis by reducing tyrosinase activity.

All this makes Platinum Peel &Cure treatments as effective and efficient as possible. They stimulate convalescence processes, normalise immunity and increase the skin’s resistance. And above all, they level out the biggest problems of the four different skin types.
