✓ Anti-AGE Collagen Repair – a complex of carnosine peptide, vitamin B₃ (niacin) and extract from the exotic quinoa plant. Carnosine is a dipeptide that counteracts the formation of AGE products in the skin. It thus protects the dermis fibres from glycation and premature loss of elasticity and firmness. Vitamin B₃ (niacin) reduces TEWL (transepidermal water loss through the epidermis), enhances collagen production and benefits skin microcirculation. Quinoa extract strongly moisturises and regenerates the skin.

✓ City Guard™ – antioxidant seawater formula with oligoalginates and biopterin. Oligoalginates form a protective film against the penetration of aggressive environmental pollutants, while biopterin from marine microalgae stimulates ATP energy synthesis and strengthens the structure of the collagen network. Glycation and the ageing process

We now consume twice as much sugar as we need. How does excess sugar accelerate skin ageing? During the so-called glycation process the glycation process destroys the skin’s main support proteins, namely collagen and elastin, which provide the skin with its youthful appearance, elasticity and resilience. The glycation process in living organisms is complex, but particularly important are the end products known as “advanced glycation products” AGE (Advanced Glycation End-Products). The acronym used is not coincidentally a reference to the English term for age and ageing.
