Antibacterial AFTER gel mask, stimulating renewal, soothing.

AFTER anti-bacterial gel mask stimulates cell renewal and normal epidermal regeneration. Effectively promotes epidermal regeneration and the correct renewal process. The skin regains its proper density and elasticity, is well-hydrated, smoothed and has a fresh radiance. The anti-bacterial properties of the mask are targeted at reducing unfavourable bacterial flora on the skin. The mask soothes irritation and redness as well as symptoms of inflammation. The skin is strengthened and more resistant to irritation resulting from both internal and external factors. The addition of menthol gives the skin a strong cooling sensation and thus reduces the discomfort of “burning” skin – sometimes occurring after treatments with intrusion or removal of the epidermis. This is why we recommend the mask after dermo-aesthetic treatments such as acid exfoliation, laser therapy and waxing.

Major active ingredients

✓ Skin Matrix – is an active substance obtained from the roots of the Baikal Thyroid (Scutellaria baicalensis Georgi). It contains the flavonoid baicalin, which is responsible for the cellular reactivation of the skin by prolonging the active life of fibroblasts and delaying the ageing process. The results clearly confirm that Skin Matrix increases the elasticity and firmness of the skin, thus maintaining the properties typical of young skin – maximum elasticity and the ability to quickly regain shape. The use of Skin Matrix allows you to maintain the appearance and quality of young skin by improving its biomechanical indicators.

✓ Menthol – has a strong minty fragrance and has refreshing, soothing, cooling, anaesthetic and irritation-relieving properties. Often used in after-bath and after-sun care preparations.

✓ The active formula is supplemented with plant extracts of blackberry, hamamelis, cornflower, sage, cypress and allantoin. The extracts have strong anti-inflammatory, antibacterial, soothing and calming, moisturising and emollient properties.

DESCRIPTION:

Skin Matrix – is an active substance obtained from the roots of the baicalensis thyroid (Scutellaria baicalensis Georgi). It contains the flavonoid baicalin, which is responsible for the cellular reactivation of the skin by prolonging the active life of fibroblasts and delaying the ageing process. The results clearly confirm that Skin Matrix increases the elasticity and firmness of the skin, thus maintaining the properties typical of young skin – maximum elasticity and the ability to quickly regain shape. The use of Skin Matrix maintains the appearance and quality of young skin by improving its biomechanical indicators. An example of the effect of Skin Matrix on the skin of a 50-year-old person is the rejuvenation of the fibroblast population of her skin to a condition comparable to skin a decade younger (in this case 40 years).

Blueberry extract (Vaccinium myrtillus) improves microcirculation. It has a toning, anti-inflammatory and antioxidant effect. It counteracts ageing and cellulite. The extract stimulates microcirculation, strengthens and seals blood vessels. This effect is due to the anthocyanin and vitamin content. The astringent and anti-inflammatory action of blueberry helps accelerate wound healing. Bilberry is recommended for skin problems, eczema or acne. The presence of gallic acid, malic acid and quercetin imparts bacteriostatic properties and prevents the growth of microorganisms that can contribute to various skin ailments. Blueberry extract is also recommended for soothing, anti-inflammatory and relaxing products.

Hamamelis extract (Hamamelis virginiana) – contains a mixture of tannins, organic acids (gallic, ellagic), flavonoids and saponins. It has strong regenerative, anti-inflammatory, antibacterial and strong astringent effects. Soothes symptoms of irritation and redness. Improves blood supply to the skin.

Extract of cornflower (Centaurea Cyanus) – thanks to the content of flavonoids and anthocyanins, has an emollient, anti-inflammatory, antiseptic and antibacterial effect. It is therefore recommended in preparations for oily skin, seborrhoeic skin and skin with symptoms of inflammatory changes. It also has shrinking properties, strengthening capillaries and counteracting redness, which is why it is used in cosmetics for vascular skin. Thanks to its toning, smoothing, refreshing and moisturising effects, it is used against signs of tired skin.

Sage extract (Salvia officinalis) – purifying with antiseptic, astringent and antioxidant properties. Has anti-inflammatory and anti-irritant properties. Regulates sebum secretion. Strengthens blood vessels – inhibits micro-bleeding from excessively dilated or damaged capillaries.

Cypress extract (Cupressus sempervirens) – regulates sebum secretion, has antibacterial, astringent and antiseptic effects. It promotes healing and strengthens and protects blood vessels. Thanks to its antiseptic properties, it is particularly recommended for oily skin, acne, excessive sweating, dandruff and excessively oily hair.

Menthol – has a strong minty fragrance and has refreshing, soothing, cooling, anaesthetic and irritation-relieving properties. Often used in after-bath and after-sun care formulations.

Alanthoin (provitamin A) – counteracts hypersensitivity and overreaction to the sun. It has antioxidant properties. Protects against free radicals, which are the cause of faster skin ageing.

Directions for use

Apply a layer of gel to the skin covering it thoroughly in a thin layer (approx.1 mm); leave on for 15-20 minutes and wash off with water. The mask is also recommended after waxing treatments.

Note: Pass around the eye and lip areas – the mask should be applied outside the lip redness area.
