Niacinamide is a form of vitamin B₃ with the characteristics of a powerful antioxidant, which has a broad rejuvenating and strengthening effect on skin function and condition. Mela-Ginseng, an extract of Korean ginseng, Vitamin D Booster and Vitamin E are also used among the active ingredients. Valuable ingredients of marine origin such as marine collagen, marine elastin and marine glycogen complete the active formula. Niacinamide is a form of vitamin B3 (an amide derivative) with the characteristics of a powerful antioxidant – it has an effective and widespread rejuvenating effect and enhances skin function and condition. It is a precursor of the molecule of youth – NAD+, which is essential for the production of cellular energy and proper mitochondrial function. NAD+ is also necessary for the activation of enzymes that repair DNA damage and for the activation of sirtuins with the ability to ‘turn off’ certain genes that promote ageing. It is not photosensitising and can be used all year round. It easily penetrates the epidermis and does not cause irritation. Stimulates collagen production and reduces wrinkles. Improves microcirculation, has a soothing effect and reduces symptoms of irritation. Mela-Ginseng – extract from Korean ginseng root standardised to Rb3 ginsenosides, targeted to lighten hyperpigmentation by inhibiting tyrosinase activity and melanogenesis. It prevents the production and accumulation of melanocytes in the skin, reducing pigmentation and discolouration. It also has anti-wrinkle and anti-ageing effects and improves tissue oxygenation. It stimulates micro-circulation and nourishes skin cells to give freshness and radiance. It rebuilds the skin’s hydro-lipid mantle and stimulates skin cell renewal and regeneration.

Vitamin D Booster – a polysaccharide fraction of oligofructosans extracted from chicory root. “The sunshine vitamin”, as vitamin D is often referred to, plays an important role in maintaining the phosphate-calcium homeostasis of the human body and skin. Unfortunately, the synthesis of this vitamin by the skin, as well as the activity of its receptor (VDR), are both reduced by the passage of time and by lack of or insufficient exposure to sunlight. This leads to a weakening of the skin’s barrier function. Vitamin D Booster, acting in a manner analogous to vitamin D, restores vitamin D receptor (VDR) function, stimulates the molecular network involved in keratinocyte differentiation, and accelerates skin barrier regeneration.

Vitamin E (Tocopheryl acetate) – known as the “vitamin of youth. It is responsible for the formation of epidermal cells, inhibits the skin’s ageing process and restores its balance. Protects against harmful UV radiation, prevents strong oxidation of lipids in the skin. It counteracts the release of free radicals, helps maintain the elasticity of the skin and thus prevents skin ageing and the formation of wrinkles.

Marine collagen with a triple helix – has excellent moisturising effects. Increases the skin’s protection against external damage, especially against UV sun exposure.

Marine elastin – stimulates the synthesis of new elastic fibres. It nourishes the skin, enhances elasticity and reduces wrinkles.

Marine Glycogen – increases cellular energy for regeneration, oxygenates and revitalises. Restores the energy reserves of the cells, repairs micro-damage.

Honey extract – contains polysaccharides, amino acids, lactic acid and urea to enhance water retention and hydration.

Aloe vera juice (Aloe Barbadensis Leaf Juice) – has strong anti-inflammatory and soothing effects. Promotes healing and soothes irritation, inflammation and micro-injuries to the skin. Stimulates the formation of new, healthy epidermis, but also relieves pain. Effectively moisturises, prevents flaking and improves dry skin. Has antiseptic and antibacterial effects, as well as anti-wrinkle and nourishing properties. It strengthens the skin’s defence mechanisms, promotes sun protection and has an antioxidant effect.

Borage extract (Borago officinalis) – the mucilaginous substances present in borage form a characteristic film on the stratum corneum, which helps to regulate water loss and maintain skin hydration. Meanwhile, the organic acids contained in the extract enhance the keratinisation process. Borage extract is also rich in antioxidants, making it ideal for mature and sensitive skin. Another cosmetic use of borage is to strengthen blood vessels and tighten the skin. It also has anti-inflammatory and soothing-regulating properties that are effective in the treatment of dermatoses.

Shea butter (Butyrospermum Parkii Butter) – obtained from the seeds of the Vitellaria paradoxa (Parka butter) tree. It contains nourishing fatty substances, vitamins E and F and ingredients that protect the skin from UVB radiation. Forms a natural sunscreen and has antioxidant properties. Has a smoothing and soothing effect on irritation. Lightly lubricates the skin without leaving a greasy feeling. Has a protective effect on the intercellular cement, moisturises and regenerates the skin. Increases the cohesion of the epidermal cells, softens and improves the elasticity and colour of the skin.

Directions for use

Apply the mask in an even layer avoiding the eye area, application time as per the treatment schedule in the device instructions. Apply the mask for 10 minutes using the chosen application method. Remove any excess with a paper tissue, do not wash off.
