Hair growth depends on the interaction between the papilla and the hair matrix. Genetic and hormonal factors also influence hair development. Genetic factors are also responsible for the morphology of the hair, which is curly in blacks, straight and hard in Asians and wavy in Caucasians. Hair does not grow continuously. Each hair undergoes a developmental cycle that consists of three phases: growth (anagen), involution (catagen) and resting (telogen). Within the scalp, hair is in different phases. Anagen occurs in 80-85% of hair and lasts 3-6 years; the fastest division of hair matrix cells occurs in this phase. Catagen (transitional period) lasts from a few days to a few weeks, covering 0.5-1% of the hair. During this time, the hair cuticle undergoes gradual atrophy and keratinisation and moves upwards. The final phase is dormancy, which lasts 2-4 months and affects 10-20% of the hair. The hair then falls out and a new hair emerges in its place.

Most important active ingredients.
✓ Dihydromyricetin (ampelopsin) – a flavonoid extracted from the extract of vinca (Ampelopsis grossedentata). Regular and long-term use helps to reduce hair growth and weaken hair. It inhibits tyrosine kinase and the result of this action is inhibition of hair growth. Many hairs may not grow at all, some will be weaker – thinner and slower growing.
Coralline algae extract (Corallina Officinalis) is rich in the marine trace elements potassium (K), magnesium (Mg), zinc (Zn), manganese (Mn) and calcium (Ca). These minerals are essential for cell communication and help maintain the skin’s hydrolipidic balance, providing elasticity and hydration. Studies also show the antioxidant and antimicrobial properties of coralline algae.
✓ Pineapple extract – has an exfoliating, peeling and purifying effect. Improves skin tone and lightens discolouration. Moisturises, smooths and conditions grey and tired skin.
✓ The formula is complemented by soapberry extract which is a natural detergent (saponins) with vitalizing effects..
✓ Bio-chromophores, of plant origin developed by Chantarelle experts, are components of light-sensitive preparations for PDT LASER or LED photodynamic therapies that have a special ability to absorb light of a specific wavelength. Applied to the skin area subjected to the therapy, they accumulate laser light multiplying the energy reserve in the cell, thus maximising: the efficiency of metabolism and absorption of active ingredients contained in the preparations.
Application: biostimulating LLLT laser / LED light treatment, sonophoresis

BIOSTIMULATING THERAPY
Black Essential’s PDT formulations show the highest efficacy when PDT is applied with the LLLT laser with magnetic field. The laser light acts directly on the energy centres of the cells. It stimulates their metabolism and stimulates them to work intensively. The effect of the treatment is significantly prolonged over time. The magnetic field increases the stimulation effect in the tissues. The synergistic use of laser light and photosensitive preparations, such as PDT Black Essential, guarantees an immediate treatment effect. The active ingredients contained in the PDT Black Essential concentrates act immediately after their application and at the same time optimise the effect of the laser. This leads to enhanced tissue processes, increased collagen production and skin remodelling. Such rapid tissue renewal and restructuring would not be possible if laser and photoactivators were applied separately.
