DESCRIPTION:

Regestril™ – a novel combination of rutin, bean extract and two matrilines (polypeptides) that accelerate fibronectin and collagen synthesis in the intercellular matrix. It counteracts the destructive action of proteolytic enzymes on elastic fibres and delays the effects of ageing. Smoothes wrinkles, restores elastic contour, lifts and firms. Stimulates the synthesis of collagen support fibres and inhibits their degradation. Prevents and reduces stretch marks on the skin by slowing down degradation and promoting regeneration of the extracellular matrix. Inhibits the action of proteolytic enzymes that destroy elastic fibres. After 2 months of use, stretch marks fade and skin becomes smoother. In vitro tests confirm a 72% reduction in the depth of stretch marks.

Bellflower (Codonopsis pilosula) is an herb commonly used in China for its anti-ageing properties. Blanish bio-retinol – a plant equivalent of retinol. Extracted from specific unique blue endemic microalgae (of the Cyanophyta group) growing in the waters of Klamath Lake located at 1,300m above sea level in southern Oregon. Extracts from this micro-organism, known as ‘blue retinol’, show retinoid-like effects without side effects. The effects of this action are the reduction of wrinkles and smoothing of the skin. It is characterised by a very high content of proteins, lipids and liposaccharides, vitamins – especially B vitamins, amino acids and specific pigments that give the extract its original blue colour. Blue retinol, like retinol, influences the differentiation of keratinocytes towards smoothing and increasing the density of the epidermis, but does not cause any negative effects due to the accumulation of retinol in the tissues.

Niacinamide – a form of vitamin B₃ (an amide derivative) with the characteristics of a powerful antioxidant – has an effective and broad rejuvenating effect. Indicated as an alternative to retinol. It is a precursor of the molecule of youth – NAD+ necessary for the production of cellular energy and proper mitochondrial function. It is not photosensitising and can be used all year round. It regenerates the skin barrier by stimulating the differentiation of keratinocytes, increases skin hydration and elasticity. Stimulates collagen production and reduces wrinkles. Improves microcirculation, has a soothing effect and reduces symptoms of irritation. Normalises the exfoliation of the epidermis, regulates sebum production, lightens discolouration and evens skin tone.

Silk proteins – help to maintain and restore the elasticity and suppleness of the skin. They counteract the degenerative changes that accompany the skin ageing process. An important feature of silk is also its ability to retain water in the epidermis. Hydrolysed silk protein forms a protective film on the surface of the skin, reducing the roughness of the epidermis and hair and protecting against adverse environmental conditions. They also stimulate metabolic processes in the subcutaneous tissues.

High-molecular hyaluronic acid (1 MDa) – forms a protective film, increases moisture reserves, reduces transepidermal water loss (TEWL, Trans Epidermal Water Loss). Protects the skin against dryness and adverse effects of external factors. Gives an immediate feeling of proper skin tone and elasticity. Strengthens the network of collagen and elastin fibres.

Hedera helix extract (Hedera helix). The leaf extract has anti-edema, anti-inflammatory, diastolic and analgesic effects. It shows a high ability to penetrate deep into the skin and drains tissues, activating lymph flow. Hedragenin – a flavonoid contained in the extract causes hyperactivity of the cells, i.e. an increase in energy demand and consequently burning of excess fat. Saponins contained in ivy accelerate the removal of fat and toxins accumulated in the skin tissue. A very valuable property of ivy extract is that it improves the absorption of other ingredients of cosmetic preparations by the skin. The extract is commonly used in slimming and anti-cellulite cosmetics.

Extract of Godwort (Artemisia abrotanum) The extract of this herb has tonic, strengthening, antiseptic and metabolism-regulating effects. The extract of the herb improves blood circulation in the skin and has anti-inflammatory effects.

Ruscus aculeatus extract (Ruscus aculeatus) Extract from the root, which contains a saponin called ruscin. Ruscin strengthens and seals the venous vessels. They are also characterised by very strong antioxidant properties. When used in cosmetics, they prevent oxidation and damage to cell membranes, inhibit the action of enzymes such as collagenase, which breaks down the support fibres of the dermis, and strengthen blood vessels. They also have a soothing and anti-inflammatory effect.

Ginseng extract (Panax ginseng) Extract from the root containing glycosides, starch, fat, volatile oil, vitamins B1, B2, and C, iron and magnesium. The extract mainly contains saponins, ginsenosides and panaxosides with very high biological activity. Ginseng root extract rejuvenates the skin, stimulates epidermal renewal, restoring the skin’s physiological balance, and regulates the water and fat balance.

Cat’s Claw Extract (Uncaria tomentosa) Cat’s claw extract has antibacterial and antiviral effects. Among other things, it contains catechin tannins with antioxidant effects, increasing the skin’s resistance to free radicals and inflammation. It improves skin microcirculation.
