PDT Vitamin C 20% laser treatment with an encapsulated formulation of three forms of vitamin C. 

A rejuvenating encapsulated formulation of three forms of vitamin C – hydrophilic and lipophilic, encapsulated in liposomes. The innovative carrier guarantees the penetration of stable active substances from the epidermis to the deep layers of the dermis. Vitamin C is a polyhydric alcohol that is a derivative of glucose. The human body is not capable of producing it, so it must be taken in food or by other means. Vitamin C is essential for collagen production and can directly stimulate collagen synthesis by activating pro-collagen mRNA transcription. It improves the appearance of skin affected by photo-ageing and ageing and stimulates elastin synthesis. In addition, vitamin C reduces the production of metalloproteinases – extracellular matrix enzymes (metalloproteinases stimulate collagen degradation in the dermis). The stimulation of collagen synthesis by vitamin C gives it the ability to accelerate the healing of wounds, skin defects and soothe irritation. The action of vitamin C is therefore wide and varied – it inhibits the activity of metalloproteinases that destroy the collagen structure, strengthens the connection between the epidermis and the dermis. It is a strong inhibitor of tyrosinase activity and inhibits melanin synthesis. It reduces the intensity of pigmented lesions, stains and discolouration and therefore has a brightening and whitening effect. Neutralises free radicals and increases antioxidant protection. Reduces damage and irritation caused by exposure to UV radiation and strengthens the skin’s protective capacity against its harmful effects. Vitamin C can be delivered superficially, but as it is a hydrophilic substance it is important to ensure its transport and stability through the use of appropriate forms and derivatives.

✓ Vitamin C (SAP) – rejuvenating, anti-radical, whitening. Has a stimulating effect on skin elasticity and firmness, by significantly improving the quality of the connection between the epidermis and the papillary layer, and rebuilds the skin’s structure and functionality. It is an active promoter of collagen synthesis, strengthens the skin’s structure and rebuilds the collagen matrix.

✓ Allantoin VC – a complex of ascorbic acid with allantoin. Combines the whitening, antioxidant and anti-ageing effects of vitamin C with the soothing and moisturising effects of allantoin. Protects against free radicals and UV damage.

✓ Superox-C™ – extract from the Australian cockatoo plum with a very high standardised stable vitamin C content that is heat resistant. Smoothes wrinkles, lightens hyperpigmentation and has an anti-acne effect.

✓ Bio-chromophores, of plant origin developed by Chantarelle experts, are components of light-sensitive preparations for PDT LASER or LED photodynamic therapies, having a special ability to absorb light of a specific wavelength. Applied to the skin area subjected to the therapy, they accumulate laser light multiplying the energy reserve in the cell, thus maximising: the efficiency of metabolism and absorption of active ingredients contained in the preparations.
