Phytrodial – a specific phytoestrogen system with clinically proven efficacy to support hormonal balance. Phytoestrogens extracted from extracts of 8 plants specially selected for their highest content, such as: Stinkweed (Cimicifuga Racemosa), Japanese knotweed (Polygonum Cuspidatum), soy isoflavones (Soy Isoflavones), angelica (Angelica Sinensis), red clover (Trifolium Pratense), pomegranate (Punica granatum), Kudzu (Pueraria lobata), Kwao Krua (Pueraria Mirifica). Phytoestrogens (belong to the group of so-called phytohormones) are estrogenic compounds found in plants, showing similarity to the action of human estrogens. They have a beneficial effect on the skin, reducing changes caused by estrogen deficiency. Phytoestrogens reduce damage to cell membranes, inhibit the action of metallproteinases, key enzymes that break down collagen and elastic fibres in the skin. They stimulate, through fibroblasts, the synthesis of proteoglycans, a key component of the connective tissue matrix, which influence the degree of hydration of the tissue.
