DESCRIPTION:

Azelaic acid (AzA) – derived from cereal grains, has an antimicrobial effect even with long term use. Reduces symptoms of inflammatory lesions such as papules, pustules and redness and erythema. Acts as a ‘scavenger’ of free radicals that activate inflammatory processes. It lightens discolouration and scars and has an antibacterial effect. It does not cause phototoxic or photoallergic reactions, so it can also be used in summer.

Stress-Blockers – extracted from rhodiola rosea (Rhodiola rosea) has an anti-stress and relaxing effect while improving mood. It has a stimulating effect on β-endorphin production and antioxidant properties. β-endorphins are neuropeptides with neurotransmitter effects. These compounds are also known as ‘happiness chemicals’ because they abolish feelings of pain and modulate mood, emotions and behaviour. Rhodiola rosea has been found to increase beta-endorphin levels without significantly modifying the other hormonal parameters tested.

Allantoin VC – a complex of ascorbic acid with allantoin. Combines the whitening, antioxidant and anti-ageing effects of vitamin C with the soothing and moisturising effects of allantoin. The complex protects against free radicals and UV damage, reduces the effects of photo-ageing and skin ageing. Thanks to vitamin C, it reduces the intensity of hyperpigmentation by inhibiting tyrosinase activity. It lightens skin tone and pigmented lesions due to oxidative damage. It is an active promoter of collagen synthesis and has a rejuvenating effect. Allantoin counteracts hypersensitivity and excessive reaction to the sun. It has antioxidant properties. Protects against free radicals, which are the cause of faster skin ageing.

Chestnut extract (Aesculus hippocastanum) – is an important ingredient in preparations against broken capillaries. It also has a mattifying effect on the skin and removes impurities. It has firming and UV-protective properties. It has anti-inflammatory and anti-oedematous effects while strengthening blood vessels.

Arnica montana extract (Arnica montana) – has a broad spectrum of action. Due to the flavonoids it contains, it has anti-inflammatory effects. It is used as an excellent remedy for the elimination of bruises and swellings. It also has a regenerative effect and soothes skin irritations. Arnica is most often used for skin with a tendency to dilate and burst blood vessels and for polluted oily skin.

Hamamelis extract (Hamamelis virginiana) – contains a mixture of tannins, organic acids (gallic, ellagic), flavonoids and saponins. It has strong regenerative, anti-inflammatory, antibacterial and strong astringent effects. Soothes symptoms of irritation and redness. Improves blood supply to the skin.

Common ivy extract (Hedera helix) – contains health-promoting saponins and flavonoids. One of the main characteristics attributed to these compounds is their ability to reduce the permeability and increase the resistance of blood vessels. The extract also has anti-inflammatory and anti-irritant properties. Flavonoids have a protective effect and hederins have astringent and decongestant properties. It also has a mild antiseptic effect.

St John’s wort extract (Hypericum perforatum) – due to its tannins and phloroglucinol content, St. John’s wort has antibacterial, antiseptic and astringent properties, so it is also used in dermatology as a wound healing agent. It has a regenerative and soothing effect.

Vine extract (Vitis vinifera), or grape extract, protects the skin against infections, irritation, oxidative stress and UV rays. It also has a regenerative effect on the skin, e.g. after intensive sunbathing or improper care. In addition, it improves skin tone and strongly moisturises the skin. Thanks to the presence of tannins, grape extracts make the skin more elastic, tighten and firm it. They also regulate sebum production, which makes them very suitable for oily and acne-prone skin. Due to their vitamin C content, they strengthen the walls of blood vessels, which is why they are used in cosmetics for vascular complexions.

Saponaria officinalis extract (Saponaria officinalis) – natural saponins with vitalizing effects, have a mild cleansing, decongestant and anti-inflammatory effect, which helps to combat excessive sebum secretion.

Papaya extract (Carica Papaya) – contains papain, an enzyme naturally found in the papaya fruit – which loosens the connections between corneocytes and exfoliates dead skin cells. They smooth the skin and prepare it to receive the active ingredients of skincare products.

Macadamia oil (Macadamia Integrifolia) – extracted from the pressing of macadamia nuts. It contains unsaturated fatty acids, omega 3, 6 and 9 fatty acids, vitamins A, B, E and minerals. It has regenerative, rejuvenating, smoothing and nourishing properties. It is a powerful antioxidant and protects the skin from free radicals.

Shea butter (Butyrospermum Parkii Butter) – is obtained from the seeds of the Vitellaria paradoxa (Parka butter) tree. It contains nourishing fatty substances, vitamins E and F and ingredients that protect the skin from UVB radiation. Forms a natural sunscreen and has antioxidant properties.
