✓ Natural Marine EPS Bio-Ferment – these are natural organic polysaccharides of marine origin, extracted from micro-organisms living in the Polynesian seas, which stimulate exfoliation more strongly than retinoic acid. At the same time, they intensively regenerate the skin’s protective barrier and stimulate the renewal of the collagen network, producing a smoothing effect and uniform texture. Polysaccharides are rich in sugars, for example glucuronic acid (16%), uronic acids (12%), sulphates (0.5%) and phosphates (2%). Their action increases the expression of involucrin and filaggrin, which are markers of cell differentiation, with the effect of accelerating skin recovery from skin barrier breakdown. They also stimulate transglutaminases found in the outermost layers of the epidermis, which support the skin’s protective functions.

Extract of the red cartilaginous alga (kelp Chondrus Crispus) contains carrageenan and mineral salts. It has a moisturising effect, reduces transepidermal water loss, forms a polysaccharide film on the surface of the skin, smooths it and facilitates skin regeneration. Carrageenan is a plant silicone that forms a thin film on the skin surface. This non-occlusive polysaccharide film binds to epidermal proteins and forms a ‘second’ layer of skin. It effectively protects against water loss (TEWL). Minerals (especially calcium and magnesium) strengthen and stimulate keratinisation, enhancing the skin’s resistance to environmental factors – detergents, UV radiation, irritants, pollution.
Vitamin E (Tocopheryl acetate) – known as the “vitamin of youth. It is responsible for the formation of epidermal cells, inhibits the skin’s ageing process and restores its balance. Protects against harmful UV radiation, prevents strong oxidation of lipids in the skin. It counteracts the release of free radicals, helps maintain the elasticity of the skin and thus prevents skin ageing and the formation of wrinkles.
Alanthoin (provitamin A) – counteracts hypersensitivity and excessive reaction to the sun. Has antioxidant properties. Protects against free radicals, which are the cause of faster skin ageing.
Shea butter (Butyrospermum Parkii Butter) – is obtained from the seeds of the Vitellaria paradoxa tree (Parka butter). It contains nourishing fatty substances, vitamins E and F and ingredients that protect the skin from UVB radiation. It forms a natural sunscreen and has antioxidant properties. Has a smoothing and soothing effect on irritation. Lightly lubricates the skin without leaving a greasy feeling. Has a protective effect on the intercellular cement, moisturises and regenerates the skin. Increases the cohesion of the epidermal cells, softens and improves the elasticity and colour of the skin.
Beeswax (Cera Alba) – has antibacterial, smoothing and moisturising effects. Thanks to its highly nourishing substances, it lubricates the skin and protects it from drying out. Products enriched with beeswax also help skin sores to heal faster.
Directions for use
Apply once a week. Apply with gentle circular motions to make-up-free face and eye area, leave on for 10 minutes and wash off with warm water. Tone the skin and apply an appropriate skincare product.
