Flowers have always played an important role in human life and have accompanied people from birth to death. They have been attributed miraculous, magical powers and used in magical rituals and religious ceremonies. As far back as antiquity, their beneficial health properties were discovered and used to cure many ailments both by traditional medicine and by shaman-herbalists.

Cosmetologists therefore turn to the flowers for their numerous active substances that moisturise, nourish, regenerate and lubricate the skin. Some species also: strengthen fragile blood vessels, fight cellulite, protect against the sun’s harmful rays, even skin tone, and delay the ageing process.
