Neutraliser in acid treatments

✓ After an acid treatment, the use of a suitable neutraliser is essential. The neutraliser stops the action of the acids and thus prevents irritation and burns. It has a soothing effect, eliminating burning and itching of the skin. Without it, an acid treatment will not be safe.

✓ Not all acids have the same neutraliser selected. Chantarelle experts have developed one neutraliser for the M-acid group, but a completely different one is designed for treatments with mandelic acid or for Red Stop, Platinum Peel&Cure treatments, for example.

✓ The preparation is applied to a cotton swab and I spread it in a circular motion over the part of the skin where the acid was previously applied. We then wash the whole face thoroughly under running lukewarm water. It is very important that the preparation does not get into the eyes or around the mouth.
