DESCRIPTION:

Pyruvic acid (AKA) – found in fermented apples, vinegar and honey. Application of this acid results in penetration at the level of the papillary layer of the dermis. This is a fairly deep cleansing action. At the epidermal level, on the other hand, the acid has an anti-epidermal effect and brightens the skin. In addition, it inhibits excess sebum secretion, has an antibacterial effect, reduces wrinkles, improves the elasticity and tone of the skin, lightens discolouration, evens out skin tone and gives the skin a radiant complexion.

Almond Acid (AHA) – alpha-hydroxy acid obtained through hydrolysis of bitter almond extract, recommended for all skin types, even sensitive and irritated skin. It exhibits strong moisturising and antibacterial effects with a gentle exfoliating action. Regulates cell renewal, improves skin texture and colour, softens and smoothes. Reduces fine lines and scars, stimulates the synthesis of elastic fibres, strengthens elasticity. At the same time, it cleanses the skin and regulates sebum secretion. Unblocks and unclogs sebaceous secretion channels. Has an antibacterial and anti-irritant effect. Lightens hyperpigmentation and improves skin tone. It is effective in rejuvenating treatments and in eliminating photo-pigmentation.

Glycolic acid (AHA) – stimulates the work of living cells in the epidermis, stimulates fibroplasts and the synthesis of collagen and elastin. It normalises the keratinisation processes of the epidermis and unclogs the follicle outlets, thus preventing the first non-inflammatory symptoms of acne. Glycolic acid also has other, very wide-ranging applications: it eliminates wrinkles, discolouration, scars, keratosis disorders, makes the skin more elastic and firm, evens out its colour.
