Lactobionic acid 50% pH 1.7 is a preparation for exfoliation treatment. It regulates the keratinisation of the epidermis, smooths and reduces wrinkles, improves the elasticity of the skin and reduces hyperpigmentation. What do we know about lactobionic acid?

✓ Lactobionic acid belongs to the bionic acid group and is a combination of the polyhydroxy acid gluconolactone with the sugar galactose. Like other hydroxy acids, it has slightly exfoliating properties, but is devoid of irritant properties. Lactobionic acid is used for sensitive and dry skin, as well as vascular and erythematous skin. It is also used for the topical treatment of telangiectasia (dilated blood vessels) and rosacea.
